Cameras, Connected And Live A linked camera is one you can watch from anywhere — a doorbell, a nursery cam, a bird feeder stream. LinkCam explains how to put a camera online, and how to keep it yours alone.

Passwords, two-factor, and firmware updates — the three defenses that matter most.
Where cameras belong, where they legally and ethically do not.
Cloud vs local recording: costs, retention, and who can access what.
How unsecured cameras end up publicly viewable, and how to confirm yours is not.
LinkCam.com does not show adult content, host hidden, private or non-consensual cameras, identify or track individuals, access or control anyone else’s camera, store video.

Questions people ask
What makes a camera a linked camera?
A network connection. Once a camera joins your Wi-Fi it can be viewed remotely — which is the feature and the risk at the same time.
Can strangers really find unsecured cameras?
Yes. Cameras left on default passwords get indexed by scanning tools. Changing the default and enabling two-factor removes you from that pool.
Is it legal to stream my camera publicly?
Pointing at your own bird feeder, generally yes. Pointing at neighbors, shared spaces, or anywhere people expect privacy raises legal issues — our placement guide covers the boundaries, though it is not legal advice.
